He has been heavily involved in leadership development and coaching programs for a wide variety of organizations and industries including telecommunications, technology, logistics, pharmaceuticals and quick service restaurants. 

Mitchell served as Assistant Vice President in Aon’s Human Capital consulting practice where he was responsible for driving new business development and directing complex client initiatives regarding talent management.  Mitchell also spent eleven years in telecommunications with top tier wireless and wireline companies.  He has managed a variety of teams focused on the development and implementation of enterprise-wide talent management and leadership development solutions across various functions including customer service, sales, network and finance organizations.  

Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Personnel Management from the University of Arizona and a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. 

He has also lent his consulting skills to not-for-profit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and is an active member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Society of Human Resource Management.
